LONG-DISTANCE MOVIE DATE

Not everyone can spend time together during Valentine’s Day, so Cineplex wanted to be the place where those long-distance lovebirds could connect and share a movie together. To make this happen, we synced screenings in Vancouver and Toronto and promoted this special event with custom animations, Pre-Show and social content. An in-theatre activation allowed guests to send a postcard to their loved ones via custom mailbox. Through Instagram stories, we created several Valentine's Day cards for same and mixed couples to screen grab, customize and share online. Many couples said it was the perfect way to get together, despite being cities apart.
